With the plus+ service you can expect exceptional comfort and impeccable service in elegant chalet surroundings. All plus+ chalets have a classic, Alpine-chic interior, en-suite bedrooms, and most also include either a sauna or steam room.
Guests will be served a hot cooked breakfast on 5 days, a continental buffet on 2 days, aperitifs in front of the fire, a delicious four-course meal (with local cheeses and homemade petit-fours) on 5 nights, plus fine wine, and free-flowing beer every night. The plus+ service also includes: ski snacks, afternoon tea with homemade cakes, and children’s dinner at 6:30pm (if required).
Chalet L'Arbalète includes: a steam-room, a wellbeing room, a log fire, a boot room with heated rack, Netflix and UK Freesat TV, and a Bluetooth audio speaker - all for your personal use.

We have a larger group, is there another Ski Basics chalet nearby?
Chalet L’Arbalète is located close by to the charming 12 bed Chalet Blanchot and a short walk from our trio of chalets, Chalet Chamois (8 bed), Chalet Brenettes (8 bed), and Chalet Lapin (6 bed).

How long does it take to get to the Meribel Centre?
From Chalet L’Arbalète, you will reach Meribel Centre in an easy 10/15 minute walk or hop on the Line A bus from right outside the chalet.

How many days will we be catered for?
Your chalet staff will be on hand to prepare breakfast and dinner on 5 days and you will return to the chalet every day to freshly baked afternoon tea. Whilst they’re away, you will help yourselves to a full continental breakfast spread including fresh bread which will have been laid out for you. In the evenings you will have the opportunity to explore Meribel’s selection of fantastic local restaurants ranging from authentic italians to traditional savoyard delicacies. Fancy a night in? Your chalet manager is on hand to help with a range of delicious catering options including take away pizzas and your very own raclette.

Can you arrange ski passes and ski hire, etc?
Yes, absolutely. Your chalet manager will contact you in the run up to your trip and is on hand to handle all the details for you.

What are the check-in/out times?
Check-in time is from 16:00 on a Sunday, and check-out at 10:00 on the following Sunday morning.
About Meribel ski resort
Meribel is situated in the world famous Three Valleys (Les 3 Vallées) in the French alps at an altitude of around 1,400 metres above sea level with its highest ski area being Mont Vallon at 3,000 metres. Alone, Meribel’s ski area is an impressive 150km, but linked with the entire Three Valleys, there is a whopping 600km of pistes.
The Three Valleys currently consists of 337 different pistes which includes 53 green, 136 blue, 113 red and 35 black runs. There are 166 ski lifts and over 2,000 snow canons.
