WHAT THEY SAY
The Brut Impérial from Moët et Chandon is the best-selling champagne in the world. This great classic is remarkably consistent. It combines bubbles of a unique finesse and aromas of pear and white flowers. The Brut Impérial is a blend of more than 200 vintages, in which we find the three Champagne grape varieties (Pinot Noir 30 to 40%, Pinot Meunier 30 to 40%, Chardonnay 20 to 30%) which each bring their own touch and complete the aromatic palette of the wine. 20 to 30% of reserve wines complete this blend and bring maturity and complexity. The Brut Impérial Moët et Chandon has a pale yellow color with green reflections and fine bubbles forming very lively strings. On the nose, one discovers notes of apple and pear, but also of white flowers. Then come the buttered aromas. In the mouth, the Brut Impérial Moët et Chandon presents a beautiful vivacity combined with a light acidity. It is a tasty and melted mouth. We find then on the palate notes of fruits with pips. This Champagne is complex, vinous and fleshy, served at 10°C, it is perfect for a meal.
ABOUT THE PRODUCER MOËT & CHANDON
Since 1743, when it was founded, Moët & Chandon has passed on, from generation to generation, unparalleled winemaking know-how and an innovative and pioneering spirit. Claude Moët, its founder, was the first to embody these values, when he made his champagne one of the most prized in Europe. With his grandson, Jean Remy Moët, a pioneer and visionary spirit, Moët & Chandon will become a great international champagne brand. An epic that quickly transformed the family business into a worldwide symbol of success. The 1,190 hectares of rich limestone soil, 50% of which are classified as Grand Cru and 25% as Premier Cru, constitute the largest vineyard in Champagne. Underground, the Moët & Chandon cellars are the largest in the region. Stretching over 28 kilometers, they form a labyrinthine maze where the wine metamorphoses under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.
