Nothing beats a ski season in Meribel. And what makes it even better is hearing all about the season’s highs from our amazing staff, the seasonnaires. Each year, we ask them to share their favourite Meribel moments, and today, we’re turning the pages back to the 2022/23 season to hear what Conor, a previous Ski Basics Driver/Host, had to say…

Without a doubt, doing a season in Meribel with Ski Basics has been one of the best experiences of my life.

The day-to-day life of living in the mountains is completely unrivalled. The friendships created and people I’ve met along the way is something I will cherish forever.

I have been extremely fortunate to have got the opportunity to work for Ski Basics. From the very first day we arrived in resort, Jason and Jules made us feel completely at home. They have encouraged us all season to enjoy the mountains while also maintaining a strong work ethic to ensure our guests have had the best ski holiday possible.

While there have been so many highlights, the standout for me is undoubtedly the friendships that have been forged over the duration of the season. What was essentially a group of strangers from across the globe at the start of December, has developed into a friendship group that will no doubt defy the test of time and distance due to the bonds created.
